Sri Lanka and the Maldives
In between leaving Calleguas and moving to San Francisco to start my new job, I decided to take a last minute trip to Sri Lanka and the Maldives. I traveled to Sri Lanka with my friend Jamie and her boyfriend. I met Jamie about 5 years ago in Ventura but in August 2009 she moved to the UAE to Abu Dhabi to go to grad school. We traveled to Jordan and the UAE over Christmas and New Years 2001/2012 and had a blast. Jamie is now working in Dubai and living with her Icelandic boyfriend, Addi (pronounced Ah-tee), in Abu Dhabi. Right before the trip I also broke my thumb and was wearing a splint.
